Hi there,
I’m Michelle!

Bio
Hello! I’m a certified Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I earned my Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at Nova Southeastern University and have worked with all ages of children (toddler - high school age) in clinic. school-based and private settings. I have been working in this field for 6 years where I have been working with children with a wide range of language and communication impairments, including severely impaired clients with complex communication needs.
I found my calling in Speech Language Pathology and now love helping children and families realize their true potential with clear, effective communication and a strong literacy foundation. I offer online teletherapy to families all over the state of Florida.

I established my private practice, Care for Kids Therapy, LLC, in 2017. My goal is to help support, educate and nurture children AND their families in improving functional communication, reading and writing skills, from the very little ones who are struggling to communicate to students with impaired speech production to struggling readers and writers. This can be done in the comfort of your own home through Telehealth. Private practice teletherapy allows me to spend MORE time with children AND their families and to build strong parent/child/therapist partnerships that support the everyone together.
